So Heaven Malone from Chicago Suicide Club just sent me a message that he saw Disney's Magic Kingdom on Ice in 1983 which featured a lengthy Tron segment. Neon, sequins and Christmas lights, oh my! I nearly peed myself when I found the commercial on youtube. Then I got wind of this techno recap of the original movie by Shinjiro. Music ain't all that, but its got the meat and potatoes of the film in 5 minutes if you have no idea what I'm rambling about.

So the other day we posted a blog with preview pics sent to us from our good friends Danny and Stefano at Kid Dangerous of the Summer Line they produced for us. I put these pictures everywhere and something started bothering me. I could barely put my finger on it until I realized they hadn't been balanced in post. I brushed some cobwebs off my old rusty noggin and remembered on of the most important lessons I learned from pro designer and photographer, John Preskitt. He had shown me the perfect and quickest way to balance a jpeg that looked otherwise lost... Results are in. Its amazing how much we can overlook...

Get those color levels even people. I get so annoyed when I see overly warm pics where everyone is so tan, and so are their teeth. Not to mention that we just discovered our t-shirts are nice and thin and actually WHITE, not faded yellow.
