Chad Vader is always welcome at our parties. This reminded me of my first few days after getting a new elbow so I thought I'd share seeing as it keeps with yesterday's theme.

A Quick Pick Me Up...
Seeing as my elbow surgery is coming up and I can't take a picture in our preferred environments til Late March/Early April, I have been seeking out support wherever I can find it. Reeves will be extremely busy as I play with my Fischer-Price phone and attempt to run our business. So a friend pointed me to this wonderful product. But I think it has had an inverse effect on me and I am now convinced that humanity is going to expire before the date on the package.
And seeing as Hoth hasn't lent itself to crazy photos lately, we're gonna gather all the celebs, rockstars, and carnival workers we took pictures of in 2008 AD and put em in one gallery later this week. Stay tuned.

Prime Directive 5: Steal Frozen Fried Chicken
So during work today, Reeves obliterated any chance of productivity when showed me his new prize from a vintage toy store in NYC: a 12" Robocop talking action figure. The shiny silver armor was almost as disconcerting as the fact that it made a wailing siren sound. But the figure looked EXACTLY like the Korean Robocop who is shilling fried Chicken and ripping refrigerators off the wall. What a tyrant... First he comes at you out of the TV like that freaky chick from "The Ring" and then he steals a family's only means of sustenance. Apparently, Robocop's maxims of honor and justice don't hold up too well in the Asian market. Bet he got paid alot for the ad though....
Go Robo!
RIP Ricardo Montablan
Fantasy Island played a huge role in the nightmares of my youth, but also laid the groundwork for my marriage in Hawaii a few years back. Campy, scary, sexual, sometimes trivial and downright bizarre (anyone remember the zombie episode? How about the voodoo one?) the show was on when I shouldn't have even been awake in 1978-1980. But alas, I would sit through the pain of the Love Boat on a Friday night just to get to Mr. Rourke's Fantasy Island. I'm convinced that half of my perversions were incubated from this Aaron Spelling abomination...How else would I tolerate midget porn?
The episode above features an old man looking to become a young swinger. They call him Mr. Dodge, but we all know it's Mr. Reeves, cast from 40 years in the future to 20 years in the past.

LA's finest DJ quits day job...finds security interesting

Michael Stone (aka DJ Stonerokk) checks his new mic.
Today, musicians and clubbers mourned the loss of one the industry's finest innovators as DJ Stonerokk traded his high profile musical career for the anonymity of a nightclub security guard. Michael (DJ Stonerokk) Stone came to Chicago solely for a wedding but was a changed man when he was mistaken for a security guard at Manor nightclub. Upon entering the club in his three piece suit, he was handed a two way in-ear radio and told to get to work. "I just didn't expect it to be so...sexy!" claimes Stone. "I can't understand a goddamn thing in the earpiece, which makes it super exciting. I hear this garbled mess and it could be an emergency or someone talking about their raging case of herpes..either way, I can run into the crowd, flash my maglite and just start wailing on someone who looks suspicious. I fucking love it." While Manor has refused to comment on recent allegations of customer abuse from their security staff, it has been confirmed that Mr. Stone is in fact, on payroll as a security liaison, and not as a DJ. "We are proud and honored to have Michael serving and protecting the valued customers of Manor. While his work as a DJ kept us dancing, its his work on the street that will keep us safe." Commented General Manager Colin Comer in a recent press conference.
Congrats to Michael Stone on his newfound career!
