Most party photographers know each other if their work is too cool for school. And in NY, many are taking great pictures but TONE is the one who is standing out on the Hip-Hop scene. His use of close range double flashes with tight f-stops make most of his work feel really polished. And seeing as he just revamped his website, we felt it was high time for a plug. There is certainly a coffee table book behind him, and more great photos in front of him.

So we've been a little quiet over here as the holidays approaches and with good reason. I have been busy having several modern torture methods tested out on my semi-broken body while Sir Reeves lives the fast life, jet setting betwixt NYC and our fair city. While I have missed out on the best of times, we need to thank Oliver Thomas (scene-there.com), who makes his debut on our site this month with the great and final installment from the BK Studio in Wicker Park. He has been instrumental in keeping our clients happy and also spreading the love of party photos in Chicago. Collaboration is everything to us and he has become an essential part of our workflow. So tip your eggnog to the OT next time you see his arms flailing, camera in hand.
