Bringing the Noir...with Jenna Jameson

What a weekend. First Ivanka, then Jenna. One of the distinct advantages of the way Reeves and I light our subjects is the ability to create deep contrasts and shadows on the fly. Jenna and Tino Martinez stopped by Manor on Friday night with some friends of mine and I was able to get a few snaps off with the couple. I warmed them up by asking them to kiss and then we moved on to the simple two shots. I showed them a few results and told Tino that I wanted another shot with his head a bit lower. Jenna looked at the camera's results and exclaimed "God! I love that light!" I smiled and said "Then lets look at the light." While Tino didn't, Jenna had positioned herself enough to bring the full force of the bounce on to her, catching every fold in her dress and glimmering off her highlights. I thought she looked like Bridget Bardot for a fleeting moment. It's shots like these that make me love my job - that we have a miniture studio in our hands is only half the battle. The other half is making the subject believe in the result. I would imagine before long, this image will be on Jenna's official MySpace page.
